DEVONBOURNE HOMES was established in 1979. Alan
Falconer was one of the two original Directors and a 50% shareholder.
Alan resigned from the company to specialise in Real Estate Development in
1990.
As well as a number of
small projects, Alan’s company was involved in a number of major projects such
as ‘Kensington Green’. This was a 50/50 joint venture with ANZ –
Esanda. The project was 102 Cluster Homes, Club House, Koala park and
trail. Alan held the position of Project Manager and Project Sales and Marketing
Director. Alan’s company also entered into a 50/50 joint venture with the
Queensland Government ‘Somerset Green’. This was one of the first two
joint ventures that the Queensland Government entered into. The project
comprised of residential lots and terraced home sites.
Alan returned to
Devonbourne Homes as a Director in 2003. His duties are in the day to day
management of the Company, Sales, marketing of the Company and negotiating
special projects such as the investment market.
MARK CURTIN is the Licensed
Director of Devonbourne Homes. Mark has held a Builders License since
1984.
Mark was head-hunted in 1990 by Devonbourne Homes with an excellent package to
be their head Supervisor, and in this position he controlled upwards of 100
homes per annum.
Mark was appointed a
Director of Devonbourne Homes in 2003. He is very much a hands-on
Director and is very often in the field, supervising and advising the
contractors and owners.
Devonbourne Homes rarely
advertise, have no Display Homes or Sales Consultants, as their reputation
alone with repeat business enables them to achieve their targets.
Our company will not enter
into a contract unless we are confident of starting construction within 35 days
of Council Approved Plans and completing construction within twenty-six
weeks. Many of our Contractors have been with the Company for 15 and 20
years or more.
Building a home to live in
or as an investment should be an exciting and pleasurable experience; it is our
company’s philosophy to do their part to ensure that this is so.
